Syndyne Corporation is devoted to help organ builders preserve and install as many organs as possible. We understand that this is difficult in such a changing and demanding industry. This is why flexibility and reliability at modest pricing has been designed into all Syndyne Pipe Organ Keying Systems, also known as organ relays or organ switching systems, and Pipe Organ Combination Action products. Our organ control systems are made from standard building blocks that can be used in all installations. No proprietary software or hardware changes are required to conform to a particular organ specification. No memory chips to burn or computer programs to learn. Installations, additions, and specification changes are easily done. Additions to an organ at a later date are very simple, requiring no changes to previously purchased equipment. Syndyne Systems are superior to competitive systems in the following ways.
- Highly reliable: In the past five years we have only needed to travel to two installations out of hundreds of completed installations. Customers find our equipment easy to install and trouble free. Service costs are kept to a minimum.
- Less Costly: Syndyne systems are generally 25-50% less costly than competitors organ keying systems and organ combination action systems. This lower cost is due to standardizing all of our components, developing all hardware and software by Syndyne employees in our own facilities and purchasing commonly used highly reliable components.
- Standardized Equipment: None of our equipment is personalized to a specific instrument or specification. We don't need to "burn" special chips for your specification. All equipment is shipped from stock. Not burning special chips for individual specifications eliminates extra expense, mistakes and unneeded delays.
- Fast Shipping: We ship most complete systems in less than 4 weeks, including custom console wiring harnesses. Although we have shipped some systems in under 4 days.
- Self Contained: No Syndyne equipment requires a computer or extra hardware to install. Simple procedures are used to tell each driver board how to drive a specific rank when certain stops are pulled. Couplers, MIDI stops and crescendos are easy to set also. Changes and additions to specifications are fast and easy to complete.
- Secure Technology: Keying data between console and chambers is transmitted on an IEEE 485 data bus. This bus technology is very fast and secure over cable lengths of several hundred feet.
- Continuous Refreshing: Competitive systems control with inferior "note on and note off" messages. Syndyne keying systems send ALL keying, stop, coupler and control data at least every 7 milliseconds (140 times a second). In the unlikely event a block of data is ever corrupted, Syndyne systems correct themselves with the next data block before any pipe magnets could ever activate. This means NO ciphers.

Syndyne Pipe Organ Control Systems are divided into two parts, Combination Actions and Keying Systems. You can use each separately or install them together as a complete control system. Our Combination Actions and Keying Systems are designed to be compatible with the majority of equipment that has been used over the years in the pipe organ industry. We even have several systems in tracker organs with mechanical stop actions, driving solenoids that move tracker bars to the chests. This compatibility allows the option of installing a Combination Action in an organ where the existing Keying System is still reliable. Likewise, a Keying System can be installed with an existing Combination Action. At a later date the remaining system parts can be added without discarding any of the parts previously used. The best way to determine which Syndyne control system to order is to look at the specifications of the LS5608 Combination Action and LS5600 Keying Systems. If these systems will handle current and future needs for your installation, they are the most economical and best choice. For instruments requiring more than the LS5608 or LS5600 specifications, select the LS2464 Combination Action and/or LS2400 Keying system. Syndyne Combination Action and Keying Systems will work with nearly any of the existing organ control systems in the world. If a customer has an organ where one division has an unreliable relay, you can easily install the Keying System Components for the console and pipe driver boards to operate the chests in that division. Using one of our LS2473 driver boards to drive each of the other divisions allows your customer to use all of the features in our system. The additional divisions can be converted when it is convenient and money is available. We understand that rebuilding an instrument in more than one phase is not the best solution, but sometimes it is necessary if the organ is to be saved. We are completely dedicated to keeping our system on top as the best organ control system available. Syndyne is constantly coming up with new upgrades and improvements to our combination action and keying systems to provide you with more and more features for the same low price. Give Syndyne systems a try and you won't go back.
